Heather Liebe

Board Member

Heather is a  professional  counselor and therapist with licensure in multiple states. She is a National Certified Counselor, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. Heather attended Illinois State University and received her B.S- Political Science as well as receiving a MS- Counseling degree from National Louis University in Chicago, Illinois. A native of the suburban Chicago area, she and her husband Mike have recently relocated to Blue Ridge. She has extensive experience in Higher Education recently serving as a Case Manager for the Women’s Program at William Rainey Harper Community College. Also at Harper College, Heather had an instrumental role with establishing the TAP (Transition Autism Program) in 2015. This program supports students on the spectrum to reach and achieve their educational and professional goals. She also has experience in Title IX, IEP, Accommodation Implementation at the higher education level, as well as personal counseling to a large, diverse population. She feels blessed and fortunate to be able to play a small role in people’s lives to support them in reaching their goals and dreams. 


Heather and her husband Mike have 7 children between them. She is a huge fan of the Chicago Cubs and enjoys boating, golfing and cooking in her spare time.
