Founding

North Georgia Autism Foundation, Inc. (NGAF) was founded by Tripp and Cathy Ritchie on  September 20, 2018 as a registered charity in the state of Georgia. The location for the foundation was the Ritchie’s small farm off of Ritchie Creek Road, Blue Ridge, GA.


The Internal Revenue Service approved NGAF as a public charity exempt from federal income tax under IRS Code Section 501 (c)3 on December 21, 2018. The effective date for the tax-exempt determination was September 20, 2018. Donors can deduct contributions made to NGAF effective this date.


The founding meeting of the Board of Directors was on November 28, 2018:
