NGAF is partnering with Cisco, Genesis Elevator and multiple companies to establish a postsecondary school called the "Georgia Bridge Academy."
Who is eligible?
The program will be free to adult students with a documented disability, not just autism spectrum disorder. Although, many people with ASD have a great aptitude and interest in the IT field. The Georgia Bridge Academy is open to adults with a disability that meet screening requirements.
The program will have three sites, Blue Ridge, Dalton, and Tommy Nobis Center, Marietta.
NGAF is searching for qualified students.
We hope to kickoff with our first cohort of ten students in June, 2021.
Successful completion of the nine month program will lead to a Cisco Network Security Certification, a three month internship and potentially a high paying career opportunity.
